Francoise Jansen was watching the Olympics in her living room when two masked men burst in and subjected her to a terrifying ordeal.

Over the course of several hours, the 73-year-old widow was tied up, gagged, subjected to mock drowning and scalded with boiling water as her assailants tried to force her to open a safe.

Today the visibly distressed pensioner described her terror as the men 'waterboarded' her in the bathroom of her home with her hands tied behind her back.

"You think you are drowning. I think they are evil, evil and so cruel".

The mock-Tudor house in the gated St George's estate near Weybridge was ransacked in the attack, but Mrs Jansen escaped with only cuts and bruises. Police mounted a search of the property and the surrounding area but were unable to track down the men.
