Where two intoximeter breath tests taken three minutes apart resulted in readings which varied by approximately 20 per cent, a police officer had reasonable cause under the Road Traffic Act 1988 s.7(3)(bb) to doubt the reliability of the readings and was entitled to require a blood test from the suspect.
