The LCCSA are delighted to announce that Sir Brian Leveson, QC President of the Queen’s Bench Division will be addressing the Association on 6^th February 2017,  6pm - 8pm at The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1PL
The event will be kindly hosted by the Law Society and jointly chaired by Paul Harris (former President of the LCCSA) and James Parry (Chairman of the Criminal Law Committee at The Law Society).
In January 2015 he released his Review of efficiency in criminal proceedings.
Since that date many of his recommendations have been implemented in a big  shake up of Criminal Justice as we move into the digital age.
Sir Brian who is one of the country’s most senior judges previously chaired the Sentencing Guidelines Council, and conducted the high profile review into Press standards. As an advocate he appeared in many high profile cases including Rose West , BCCI and Polly Peck. As a judge he has presided over many high profile cases including Damilola Taylor.
