European governments must take action against renditions and illegal detentions, the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) ? whose UK member is Justice ? has said.

The comments followed Swiss senator Dick Marty?s finding of a CIA ?spider?s web? of renditions and detentions. ?The gross violations of human rights documented in this report must not be allowed to happen again,? said ICJ secretary-general Nicholas Howen.
