A sentence of eight years' imprisonment and a disqualification from driving for life, imposed after the offender pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol, was reduced to six-and-a-half years' imprisonment and disqualification for ten years as serious aggravating features were missing and the offender did not pose an indefinite danger to the public.
