Where there was more than a fanciful possibility that the jury would have reached a different conclusion had fresh evidence, given on appeal, been before the jury at trial then a conviction was unsafe. Where there was an issue of the complainant's credibility, collateral material was admissible. A full LAWTEL report in this case is unavailable due to strict reporting restrictions imposed.
