[2012] EWCA Crim 1675

A sentence of three years' imprisonment was appropriate where an offender with a significant criminal record had pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling house. The presence of an elderly and vulnerable victim on the premises and the fact that the burglary occurred at night were aggravating features.
