[2012] EWCA Crim 1296

A sentence of six months' imprisonment was appropriate in the case of an individual who had harboured an abscondee from a children's home. A short sentence of immediate imprisonment was necessary to mark the gravity of the offence, the public policy issues involved, and the culpability of the offender.
