A judge had correctly ruled that there was no case to answer to charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent or inflicting grievous bodily harm on a child by shaking where the medical evidence in respect of one limb of the triad of injuries indicative of shaking indicated either an unknown cause or some sort of trauma.
