A sentence of two years' detention was appropriate in the case of a 17-year-old offender who had pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine and heroin with intent to supply. The offence, which was not his first, had been committed while he was subject to the requirements of a detention and training order and, by the time he was sentenced, he had received a further detention and training order for a similar offence committed in the meantime.
