A sentence of two years' imprisonment was too long for an offence of indecent assault where the victim had clearly consented to sexual activity and where the appellant's mitigating features substantially reduced his sentence below the statutory maximum for such an offence. Accordingly, the sentence was reduced to nine months' imprisonment.
