[2010] EWCA Crim 19

A sentence of imprisonment for public protection following guilty pleas to 17 offences relating to the making of indecent photographs of children could not stand in the light of the court's decision in R. v Terrell (Alexander James) [2007] EWCA Crim 3079, [2008] 2 All E.R. 1065; there was no evidence that the offender was involved in the production of the images or that he had any direct contact with children relating to the images.
