In an unsuccessful appeal against a sentence of 21 months' imprisonment for an offence of violent disorder, the sentencing judge was fully entitled to disregard the level of sentences indicated in a schedule of sentences for offenders convicted of similar offences and order a sentence that he thought appropriate in the circumstances of the appellant's case.
