A sentence of four years' imprisonment imposed following a conviction for handling stolen goods was not manifestly excessive where the offender, a former registered pharmacist who held a wholesale pharmaceutical dealer's licence, had knowingly allowed his licensed premises to be used for the storage of a large quantity of stolen prescription drugs with an estimated value in excess of £1 million.
