[2007] EWCA Crim 186

A sentence of three-and-a-half years' imprisonment for corruption, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and misconduct in public office was appropriate for a police officer who, through his employment, had obtained confidential information that had then been passed on to criminals via an intermediary.
