[2011] EWCA Crim 380

Whilst a judge had erred in giving both a Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 s.34 direction and Lucas direction, in respect of an offender charged with arson with intent to endanger life, the error cast no doubt on the safety of the conviction.
