R v CP (2006)

PUBLISHED November 15, 2006

[2006] EWCA Crim 3019

A sentence of two years' imprisonment was not manifestly excessive where a father had, over a period of weeks, caused several severe injuries to his two-month-old daughter, and a custodial sentence was appropriate even where there had been a delay of two years and six months before the matter came to trial.
