An extended sentence comprising a one year custodial element and three years' extended licence period was manifestly excessive for offences of making indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children. A sexual offences prevention order, which prevented the appellant from having contact with children through work or leisure, was not justified as he did not present a risk of direct harm to children.
