Where a youth court had considered offences to be grave and had committed defendants to be sentenced in the Crown Court, and the Crown Court had remitted those offences back to the youth court for sentencing, then the youth court had power to commit the offences under s.37 Magistrates' Court Act 1980 for sentencing in the Crown Court.
