[2009] EWCA Crim 1441

Respective sentences of three, two and four years' detention imposed on offenders' aged 15, 13 and 16 years old, for damaging property being reckless as to whether life was endangered, following pleas of guilty, were not manifestly excessive as although they were severe they needed to act as punishment and as a deterrent to others.
