The judge in confiscation proceedings, when determining whether persons had benefited from their relevant criminal conduct for the purposes of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 Pt VI, was entitled to take into account all of the evidence he had heard and to make his own relevant findings of fact, provided that he acted consistently with the verdict and its factual basis.
