[2003] EWHC 3074 (Admin)

The youth court had not erred in rejecting a submission of no case to answer on the basis of the prosecution's failure to undertake the video identification procedure contrary to the codes of practice to the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. The youth court had been justified in exercising its discretion not to exclude evidence of a key witness and in convicting the appellants of offences against the person.
