[2011] EWCA Civ 1188

The Court of Appeal had jurisdiction to hear an appeal by a newspaper against a decision of the Divisional Court upholding a ruling of a magistrates' court that the newspaper was not entitled to the disclosure of documents which had been used during an extradition hearing; the Divisional Court's decision did not amount to a "judgment of the High Court in any criminal cause or matter" for the purposes of the Senior Courts Act 1981 s.18(1)(a).
