[2012] EWHC 1810 (Admin)

The court was to apply the same margin of appreciation as the European Court of Human Rights would apply when assessing the lawfulness of Prison Service Instructions and it was clear that the guidance in two Prison Service Instructions relating to the imposition of deductions from prisoners' earnings did not violate the European Convention on Human Rights Protocol 1 art.1.
