Almost 2,000 women workers in the Prison Service in England and Wales have won equal pay cases which could cost millions of pounds to settle.

An employment tribunal held in Croydon, south London, ruled in favour of the Public and Commercial Services Union.
It heard that staff - mainly women - in office and managerial roles were rewarded less than prison officers and governors in roles of equal value.
