The LAA will be running a Peer Reviewer Recruitment campaign across all Civil and Crime Categories as there is an expected significant increase in Peer Reviews from 1st April 2017.
To apply for the position of an Independent Peer Reviewer applicants will need to complete the Independent Peer Reviewer Application Form (along with signing and returning the Non-disclosure agreement, Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form, and SRA consent form). Completed forms can be obtained from and returned by email (PRRecruitment@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk) or by post. Interviews and assessments will be held on December 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th (unfortunately travelling expenses cannot be reimbursed) For all successful applicants, a two day training event will be held in January/February (only reasonable standard rail travel and overnight accommodation will be reimbursed - this must be pre-authorised by the peer review team)
