A youth court had the power to impose consecutive detention and training orders for summary-only offences falling to be sentenced on the same occasion where the total term was greater than six months. The court had to consider whether it was reasonable to make a recovery of defence costs order at the conclusion of the proceedings when a representation order had been made by the Legal Services Commission.
