Lawyer of the week: Mark Summers, QC
PUBLISHED September 24, 2015Mark Summers QC, of Matrix Chambers, acted for Rwandan intelligence chief General Karenzi Karake, who was arrested in the UK on a European arrest warrant for extradition to Spain. The UK court ruled that the allegations of genocide, war crimes and terrorism were not offences capable of extra-territorial prosecution under UK law.
