Crispin Aylett, QC, of QEB Hollis Whiteman chambers, was part of the team that acted for the Serious Fraud Office in the first deferred prosecution agreement in the UK, which involved ICBC Standard Bank paying $25.2 million (£15.12 million) as a penalty and $7 million (£4.2 million) in compensation, to the government of Tanzania.
