'Labour's commissioner for domestic violence would make no difference at all'

Over the weekend shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper announced Labour's plans to create a Commissioner for Domestic and Sexual Violence, to help vulnerable women prosecute attackers. The new policy comes as official figures show national rape prosecutions are down 33 per cent, while domestic violence prosecutions are down 13 per cent.
