GENCAY YILMAZ v SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (2005)

PUBLISHED June 2, 2005
SHARE

The Home Secretary was entitled to reject an application under the European Community Association Agreement with Turkey on the ground of the applicant's fraudulent deception in attempting to gain entry to the UK. It was the deceptive intention of the person seeking entry that was important, not whether the person was successful in the deception.
