Fraud case thrown out in dispute over legal-aid cuts
PUBLISHED May 2, 2014Several large-scale criminal trials are at risk after a judge threw out a £4.5 million fraud case yesterday because the defendants said that legal-aid cuts meant that they could not find barristers to represent them.
