Richard Breeze?s comments on Abu Qatada are reflective of how even lawyers have become accustomed to the suspension of the rule of law in the UK. Mr Breeze repeatedly, without legal basis, refers to Abu Qatada as a ?terrorist? and regurgitates the mantra of the tabloid press by questioning the integrity of human rights organisations and suggesting that allegations of torture and government complicity are propaganda designed to divide the ?infidels?.
