ELOMBAH v GERMANY (2013)

PUBLISHED June 19, 2013
SHARE

Allegations of racism in the criminal justice system and in prisons in Germany made by a Nigerian national whose extradition had been sought by Germany had no possibility of succeeding, and came nowhere near demonstrating that there were substantial grounds to believe that he was at risk of inhuman or degrading treatment or a flagrant denial of his right to a fair trial contrary to the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.3 and art.6.
