Police officer's failure to explain blood/urine option to a disinterested motorist fully may not invalidate breath tests previously taken. The position on the onus of proof in this case and the clarification of the Warren formula is now documented in the House of Lords decision DPP v Jackson : Stanley v DPP (1998) Times, July 30, 1998.
