[2005] EWHC 495 (Admin)

For the purposes of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 an appellant's lies about the source and intended use of money found in his possession was evidence which the judge was entitled to rely upon in establishing whether, on the balance of probabilities, the money was obtained through unlawful conduct or was intended for use in unlawful conduct.
