Britons despair of big increase in anti-social behaviour

Most generations insist that manners and morals have declined since they were young but the findings of YouGov's latest survey for The Daily Telegraph suggest that anxiety about other people's bad behaviour nowadays affects all age groups and all sections of society.

Tony Blair is right to believe that lack of respect and anti-social behaviour are blighting the lives of millions of Britons. Whether his Government - or any other - can do much to reverse the decline is another question.
