A sentence of 12 months' imprisonment for an offence of causing death by driving without due care and attention pursuant to s.3A(1)(c) Road Traffic Act 1988 was regarded by the Court of Appeal as unduly lenient. Accordingly, the sentence was quashed and substituted with a term of 30 months' imprisonment.
