Why alcohol tags for criminals could be used in Britain
PUBLISHED August 1, 2014Criminals who repeatedly break the law after having a drink will be forced to wear ankle tags that alert police if they have had any alcohol. The year-long pilot scheme, being trialled in four London boroughs, is hoped to tackle the issue of alcohol related reoffending.
