Supporting online training now available

The next set of changes to come out of the Ministry of Justice?s consultation ? Transforming Legal Aid: delivering a more credible and efficient system ? are due to be introduced on 27 January 2014.
Now that the relevant Statutory Instruments have been laid before Parliament, we have launched online training to support these changes on the Provider Training website (see link below).

Accessing the training

To access the training you will need to register on the Provider Training site, completing all the required fields.

Anyone who has an LAA office account number and a practising certificate number should have them to hand when registering.  Those who don?t can register without them.

What?s covered?

The training consists of an updated Welcome Pack (covering all Transforming Legal Aid changes) and three modules:
  • Overview to Crime and Civil changes (from 27 January 2014)
  • Crown Court Eligibility (Crime) (from 27 January 2014)
  • Borderline Merits (Civil) (from 27 January 2014)
