A person occupying temporary accommodation comprising a shared flat in which he had a bedroom that he could lock so as to exclude the other occupants had a sufficient degree of occupation and privacy for it to be said that his bedroom comprised a separate dwelling for the purpose of the police entry and search powers contained in the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 s.17.
