[2012] EWHC 2054 (Admin)

The Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Act 2011 Sch.8 para.4 made clear that the period during which a person was subject to a control order was ignored for all purposes concerning a subsequent terrorism prevention and investigation measures notice. The control order was therefore irrelevant in considering whether, for the purposes of condition C of s.3 of the Act, it was necessary to impose restrictive measures on that person.
