Where a High Court judge's extradition decision had been pronounced in open court, and the affected person and his lawyers had not attended due to communication errors on the part of the court office, and he had not been notified of the decision until five days later, fairness nevertheless did not require that the decision be relisted so that the period of 14 days in which he could lodge an appeal to the Supreme Court could start again.
