[2009] EWHC 1469 (Admin)

A magistrates' court was correct to refuse to reopen, under the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 s.142, committal proceedings for failing to comply with a confiscation order where it was not being asked to rectify a mistake but conduct a review of the decision of a previous magistrates' court.
