[2012] EWCA Crim 2290

A recorder had approached the sentencing of three offenders for robbery in a careful and considered way, and the sentences imposed of five years and nine months' imprisonment for one and of four years' imprisonment for the other two were not unduly lenient. The fact that the recorder had not explained the reductions in their sentences for guilty pleas and other matters in percentages did not undermine his sentencing approach.
