[2008] EWCA Crim 1501

A sentence of three years' imprisonment imposed on a bodybuilder of previous good character, following guilty pleas to a number of drug offences including possession of Class C drugs with intent to supply to fellow bodybuilders, was manifestly excessive given the circumstances. A consecutive sentence imposed in respect of one count should have been concurrent to another count relating to the same drugs, and there had been inexcusable and inordinate delay in bringing the case by the Crown.
