[2007] EWCA Crim 2264

A conviction for murder was safe in circumstances where the fresh psychiatric evidence that the appellant sought to adduce, as to her state of mind at the time of the murder and the effect of the victim's violence towards her, added nothing to her defence of self-defence, provocation or diminished responsibility.
