[2007] EWCA Crim 726

There had not been sufficient evidence to support a finding by the trial judge that the arresting officer making an arrest under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 s.24 had had the requisite suspicion that the appellant had committed the offences for which he was arrested. The arrest, and the interview and searches that resulted from it, were unlawful.
