[2013] EWCA Crim 2338

A judge had been right to give only a 25 per cent reduction in sentence for a guilty plea tendered some three months after the case had been sent for trial. The defendant had indicated, when his case had been sent for trial, that a guilty plea was likely, and it had not been necessary for him to wait for service of the full case papers before entering his plea.
