[2009] EWCA Crim 353

Convictions for robbery and handling stolen goods were upheld, as although the judge had given an unsatisfactory direction on how the jury should deal with bad character evidence they had not been seriously misled and there was no reason to believe that they had placed improper reliance on the evidence.
